Don’t Limit God’s Plan For You

“In Him we also were made [God’s] heritage (portion) and we obtained an inheritance; for we had been foreordained (chosen and appointed beforehand) in accordance with His purpose, Who works out everything in agreement with the counsel and design of His [own] will.” (Ephesians 1:11)

Do you realise that before you were conceived in your mothers womb God knew you and predestined you for a purpose?  Many times we see from our limited view, and make plans based on our limited understanding. But God’s spiritual binocular sees far into our future and He is an expert at making all things work together for good. He is a limitless God.

The sad thing is that, when we decide to run from God’s plan, no matter how much we try, we will only go as far as the wall. Jonah had God’s call to preach to Nineveh, but decided against God’s direction for Him, he taught he knew better. Unfortunately he brought a wild wind into His life because of disobedience. God had to use a storm and great fish to turn Jonah around. (Jonah Chapters one and two). Another example is the parable of the prodigal son, he also taught his plan for his life was better than his father’s, but he ended up eating with the pigs. (Luke 15:11-32)

When God calls and we don’t listen, we can find that life makes no sense, things stand still. Other times, we can get caught in a storm like Jonah or find our self in similar position as the prodigal son. Although, God does not wish these things for us, however when we are disobedient God allows these things in order to get our attention and turn us away from a destructive path.

Does any of this relate to you? Are you on the run from God or His plan? If that is you, I encourage you to repent and allow God to have His way in your life. The good thing is that, when we choose to trust God’s plan for us, He is ready to help us. It does not matter the time you have wasted or how old or weak you are, God is able to turn your mess into a miracle opportunity and testimony.

Prayer Confession:
Father forgive me for disobedience to your will. I surrender to your plan for my life. Thank you for choosing me and appointing me to bear good fruits. my heart and mind are stayed on your word, you will keep me in perfect peace. I will operated from rest because I am planted on the solid rock of Christ. the Holy Spirit is my teacher and helper. He will guide me and help me. All things will work for my good because i am walking in obedience to God. I am the head and not tail. I declare that my weaknesses are miracle opportunities. I serve a limitless God. I will soar in life like the eargle. I am more than a conqueror. In jesus name!.Amen.

Reflection:"For I know the plans I have for you,” says the Lord. “They are plans for good and not for disaster, to give you a future and a hope." (Jeremiah 29:11)
