“The grass withers and the flowers fade, but the word of our God stands forever.” (Isaiah 40:8).

As children of God, created in His image and likeness we should imitate our heavenly Father. As I said yesterday, Abraham modelled for us how we can bring God’s promises into manifestation by imitating God with our confessions. In the realm of the spirit the words we speak are very powerful. That is why Jesus said ‘What so ever you say you will have.’ (Mark 11:23). In Matthew 12:36-37, He said you will either be justified or condemned by the words you speak. We need to be mindful of our words because God takes word seriously, the universe came into existence by the spoken word, even our salvation came by our confession of faith!

So then, first thing we need is to spend time in the Scriptures, we need to look into the ‘mirror of God’s Word’ because this where we will get a reflection of our true identity in Christ. (James 1:23-24). And what ever we are lacking, God’s promises are ‘seeds’ that will produce the miracle  we need. That is why Jesus illustrated with the parable of the sower in Mark 4:26-27, that the kingdom of God operates by the principle of sowing and reaping. Seed time and Harvest time. So for example, if you need healing in your body, you must first locate where healing is promised to you as a child of God in the Bible.

As you locate the seed promises, write them down and spend time feeding on the Scriptures. Then take that ‘seed promise’ and ‘plant it in your heart.’ How? By confessing it back to God in prayer and thanking God by faith for it. Doing this is like a farmer planting seed in expectation for harvest. Or it’s like the conception of a Baby in the worm. Romans 10:17 says, ‘Faith comes by Hearing and Hearing’, as you keep meditating and confessing those promises your faith will begin to grow stronger, and that ‘spiritual baby’ in your ‘spiritual womb’ will begin to take shape and begin to form. And as you remain sensitive to the Holy Spirit, He will begin to guide you and orchestrate things in alignment for that promise to become ‘matured’ and come to pass in your life.

We can eat FRUIT of death or life from the power of the tongue.(Proverbs 18:21). Fruit takes time to develop from Seed to Harvest time. So thus ‘Babies, from Conception to Birth’ And likewise is our confession of faith, the result is not an instant harvest. But It takes patience and perseverance. If we do what is possible in the natural, God will do what is impossible in the supernatural for us. Just like the farmer sows the seed and waits for the harvest to come in due season, God promises us that we will also reap if do not faint and give up! My friend, your bank account maybe empty and doctors may say you have no hope, but beloved, be encouraged today, do not stop believing and acting in faith because God is faithful to His promises.

Prayer Confession:Thank you Father that I am made in your image and likeness. Your Word is a reflection of who I am in Christ. Through your precious promises I am a partaker of the divine life. By your promises and the confession of my mouth I make my way successful in life for the power of death and life is in my tongue. You have put your word in my mouth like Jeremiah and I confess in agreement with You that my tongue is for uprooting and tearing down the works of the devil and for planting and building the kingdom of God in my life and my generation. In Jesus name. Amen.

Reflection: "So let’s not get tired of doing what is good. At just the right time we will reap a harvest of blessing if we don’t give up." (Galatians 6:9).
