Blog Hop!

Hi everyone! Welcome to this special Blog-Hop post.  The theme of this blog – hop is for  each participating writer to answer four  Questions and introduce three other Bloggers. Personally I love the idea because I think it’s a brilliant way for all involved to get to know one another and the interesting things happening on the other ends.

To get started, I will first  like to thank Ceil for given me the opportunity, by inviting me to be part of this experience. Ceil is a writer with an insightful Blog. We met in the blogging community not too long ago. She has such a   lively personality and she is always full of encouragement. Not only that, Ceil knows how to connect the dots together in a story, with wisdom in a witty writing style, that is only unique to her. I always go away blessed reading her posts. Please scroll down on blog postings to find her recent Blog-Hop post titled “About Writing”  and  also get a feel of  the rest of her work on her website. Thank you!

Now then, here are my Answers to the 4 Questions required:

What am I writing or working on?
Presently I’m busy with few things that I’m trying to get up and running. But at the top of that list, is my desire to  grow more in the Lord and spend great quality time with my family. Also, taking time to enjoy life along the way. The fact is, I’m just trying to go one day at a time.

How does my work differ from others of its genre?
I don’t think about fitting into any particular genre. I  find out  that, as I’m getting encouraged in the Word, spending time with the Lord and having fellowship with others, I’m also encouraged to share through my writing and bless others.  I just want the Lord to use me as He desires, and for me to do it with joy for His glory.

Where do I write what I write?
Again, what inspires me to write is to bring encouragement to people. We’ve all been through trials and difficult times in life, we know life is not always easy and straightforward. Many people in our world are hurting and loosing hope daily with so many discouraging news and events developing around us. The gospel message is the hope and answer many are looking for in different wrong places. So I thank God for giving me the opportunity to share the good news with those who are looking for it.

How does my process work?
Personally I’m an early morning person. My process usually starts  about 4am with a cup of tea.
I find that usually as I spend time studying the Bible or reading a Christian inspirational in my quite time with the Lord, my head is clear and I get inspired to make notes in my journal. Most of the time, it is from the theme of my personal journal that I develop my writing from. Thereafter, I find that through the day in between times, I get to sit down with a drink, note pad and a pen to develop the outline and finally, I hit my laptop to type it out.

Now, the last bit of the Blog -Hop, which is where I get to introduce three of my blogging friends.

First, it’s a pleasure to introduce Ann. She is a beautiful friend, I got connected to her on-line from the very beginning of ann-fmy blogging experience and ever since, she has been a blessing to me. Ann has a unique way of using her very own “special smiley icon”, encouraging Scriptures and quotes to bring inspiration in her post. You’ll enjoy visiting her  blog  here

A down to earth spirit led lady sharing her faith walk with the world.  My life is surrendered to my Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. I’m blessed with the gifts of faith and encouragement. I’m an avid reader and loves music and playing video like games.  I am a lady in waiting.

Marilyn is another good friend,  I must say, it’s been a joy  for me to know her. I got connected to Ceil through Marilyn’s blog. She is a prayer house, with a heart in pursuit of God. She brings hope and inspiration to many with her willingness to share openly from her own personal experience. Marilyn is a beautiful example of what she preaches.  Please take time to visit her inspiring blog.

marilyn-jMarilyn Jernigan is a blogger at Single & Content ( She believes Singles can live life abundantly, to the fullest, until it overflows.  After a divorce and years of failed relationships, the Lord began unveiling how precious she is to Him and that he desired holiness of her.  She began living a life of celibacy to the Lord and encourages others to do the same.  Marilyn has a certificate in pregnancy resource coaching, a BS in Business Management, and a Masters in Business Administration. She has 3 adult children,  a beautiful granddaughter, and a Calico cat.

Last but certainly not the least is another lovely blog friend, Andrea.
She has a caring heart for children in need and blogs for compassion. Her blog is regularly updated with creative teaching arts and encouraging scripture verses for children and adults to enjoy. She is a blessing to the young generation and many of us on-line. Please take some to visit her creativity blog as well

PGFE Andrea from ‘Paper Gifts for Estefany’ loves pushing buttons and is happy to try anything once, especially if it looks like fun, so a blogging adventure was bound to happen. She is passionate about Jesus; enjoys sharing a coffee with her hubby overlooking the garden; and her favorite part of the day is just before sunset, where they can often be found walking around a lake or along the beach, admiring Papa God’s creation. She is blessed with 14 incredibly wonderful Compassion children and loves finding or designing pretty things for them and then sharing her paper treasures with others, which is what you will find over at her blog.

That’s it for this blog – hop. Thank you so much for reading and  taking the time to explore and connect with these blogs. I pray you have a wonderful day!   I will be back here with regular posting after my blog break. God bless you 🙂
