Divine Protection

“Those who live in the shelter of the Most High
will find rest in the shadow of the Almighty.” (Psalm 91:1).

No doubt our world is getting more and more dangerous daily. The Bible says, that the devil is like a roaring lion looking for whom to devour. (1 Peter 5:8). When we look at things in the natural we can very easily become fearful. But thank God, as believers in Christ and people in covenant relationship with God our security is not limited to the natural state of affair but much more, in the supernatural keeping power of God. Those who dwell in the secret place of the most high will find rest under covering of the Almighty. That secret place is in Christ. And we, as joint heir with Christ, we are living in Christ. Where He is seated at the right hand of God. (Ephesians 3:6). There is no greater security than that!

There are many stories in the Bible testifying to the faithfulness of God as Covenant keeping God.  For example, the Lord supernaturally delivered  Moses  from death under the most powerful world ruler of his days, Pharaoh, the king of Egypt . (Exodus chapter 2). Elijah was divinely protected from Jezebel. (1 Kings 19:4-8). David from Goliath,  also from King Saul who sought for David daily in order to take his life. ( 1 Samuel 17:28; 1 Samuel 23:14-1). And in the New Testament, Jesus was miraculously protected by God from every attempt of the devil to take His life before His mission was completed, and so also with many of the Apostles.

My friend, the Bible repeatedly tells us “FEAR NOT!” This is because fear will paralyse your faith. Fear will open the door for doubt and unbelief.  And it won’t be long before you start making confessions in agreement with the devil. As believers, we have a place of protection in God. As you spend more time reading  the Word and meditate on God’s protection continually,  you start to live above  fear and activate your faith. God has given us the power to overcome every fear and plot of the devil through His Word.

Prayer Confession: Prayer Confession: Heavenly Father thank you for sanctifying me to yourself through the blood of Jesus Christ. I am not of this world I belong to your Kingdom. Jesus is my shelter and rock. The Lord of host is with me, comforting and guiding me everyday in the Word of God. I have no fear in every area of my life for I am born of God. And I have overcome the wicked one for greater is He that lives in me than the wicked one that is in the world. Thank you Father for your protection over me and my family. In Jesus name. Amen.

Reflection: “You shall establish yourself in righteousness (rightness, in conformity with God’s will and order): you shall be far from even the thought of oppression or destruction, for you shall not fear, and from terror, for it shall not come near you.” (Isaiah 54:14).

God’s protection is total and complete. When the world is pursuing someone, he can run to God for protection but when God pursues, no hiding place for the wicked. Thanks for sharing my sister and more blessings to you and family.
